Today, I worked on styling the login/signup page for the website, a difficult feat at times because of how Material-UI components are styled differently, even when certain classes are used. Some parent functions just can't be styled inline without negatively affecting the other components nested inside.
Aside from that, we also played Mafia in class today to take a break from all the work we've been doing. When I thought we were going to play the setup on Town of Salem, I lost all forms of faith in myself because I am absolutely TERRIBLE at playing the online version of Mafia x,D All in all, I think the little exercise was fun, especially because they recall fond memories of playing the game with my Physics class, near the time my senior friends were graduating.
My goals for the afternoon were to actively note-take during the client call, but I couldn't concentrate on that because right before the call, while screen-grabbing a video clip of the login/signup page components I didn't push to the master branch, I deleted an important bookmarks folder containing hours of researched links and sites. I'm sorry to say I couldn't concentrate during several parts of the call, although I was able to catch some notes. Chris jotted down many of the initial notes (thank god!), which I will try to type up and commit to memory. Thankfully, I was able to recover some of the bookmarks I lost, and I swear this will never happen again, even if I somehow delete everything. My anxiety over losing things makes me unable to prioritize until after I've impulsively recovered them, which is something I hope I can change, because there's always a right and wrong time to do things. Clearly, I'm in need of some Agile development ;)
