CS+E Day 19 (M)

Today, I worked on styling aspects of the signup/login page for Nohmad, achieving a consistent look to the page that emphasized minimalism and aesthetics. This took surprisingly long because of all the rules and responsive design involved with styling against default Material-UI settings, but I am getting the hang of it. I'm proud to mention that I've gotten familiar enough with some things to actually help people with them! Although I am still incredibly far away from being proficient in any coding language, it's good to feel the progress that I've made from the start of these 5 weeks.

This afternoon, our class did a morale-boosting activity, where we played Heads Up, a guessing game sort of like charades. I think that helped us loosen up a bit, and afterward, it actually did help me better focus on the project.

I had signed up for a guided tour of IBM (the company is situated right across the street from Cooper Union), so I left class early and unfortunately, was unable to practice presenting Nohmad. Although the tour was extremely interesting, going forward, I hope I can practice before the actual day of the presentations.
