Today, we went over how to push and pull changes in Gitlab, learned how to navigate through files in React JS, and brushed up on some CSS classes, and how the usage of them varies in React JS, upon which style becomes styleName.

For the rest of the day, we worked on our projects and got used to pulling and pushing that changes to other people. I myself got used to editing the visual aspects of the page, and am still researching how to properly divide the page up and style them individually, perhaps with inline styling.

My goal for tomorrow is to study more and hopefully better understand how to style the map element of our website, as well as learn how to style the div elements of our page with main.scss.

We'll leave for the Facebook HQ in 15 minutes, and although I'm very excited, I've thrown away my delusions of acquiring a Facebook internship because let's face it—that requires experience, initiative, and other sensitive factors, none of which I can fulfill at this time.

So...Facebook was AMAZING (ofc)

Jessica gave us a tour of the building, as well as access to some amazing gelato and sorbetti. She talked about Facebook internship opportunities, as well as Facebook University, an 8-week program at the Californian branch of FB Headquarters. Although the employee/intern benefits are unbelievably enticing, I think I'll wait until freshman or sophomore year in college to apply, purely because I know at this time of my life, I am in no way shape or form ready for the type of work required of a Facebook employee. Until I can work myself up there, to at least have complete knowledge of one coding language, I can't imagine applying and expecting any good results.
